    Concrete Base

    Concrete Sub-Base Build Guide

    Specifications for a reinforced concrete pad: thickness, rebar, expansion joints, slope/pitch for drainage, cure time, and surface tolerance before tile installation.

    • 4" minimum thickness with #4 rebar grid
    • 1% pitch (1/8" per foot) for drainage
    • Broom finish, no curing compounds
    • 28-day cure before tile install

    Asphalt Base

    Asphalt Sub-Base Build Guide

    Specifications for a paved asphalt base: aggregate sub-base depth, binder and surface course, compaction standards, slope, and recommended cure period before tiling.

    • 6" compacted stone sub-base
    • 2.5" binder + 1.5" surface course
    • 1% slope, single-direction pitch
    • 30-day cure before tile install

    Gravel / Permeable Base

    Permeable Crushed-Stone Build Guide

    Engineered open-grade stone base for properties near impervious-coverage limits. Covers excavation depth, geotextile fabric, stone gradation, and laser-leveled finish.

    • 8–12" excavation with geotextile separator
    • Open-graded #57 stone, choker course on top
    • Plate-compacted in 2" lifts
    • Laser-leveled to ±1/4" tolerance
