    Hoop Placement & Overhang

Every CAD/Submittal package includes hoop placement confirmation to ensure proper installation.

    Hoop Configuration

    • • Single Hoop (Half Courts)
    • • Dual Hoops (Full Courts)

    Mount Types

    • • In-Ground
    • • Surface-Mount
    • • Wall-Mount (Facility)

    Backboard Overhang

Horizontal distance from backboard face to rim centerline. Affects playing clearance and baseline safety.

Note: Hoop location and overhang must be confirmed prior to installation. All positions are dimensioned in CAD drawings.

    Net Post Installation Timing

Applies to Pickleball, Tennis, and Multipurpose Sport Net Systems. Both installation methods are acceptable when performed correctly.

    A

    Before Tile Installation

    Recommended Method

Preferred when court layout and measurements are confirmed, CAD/Submittal has been approved, and base surface is new or unobstructed.

    Cleanest installation
    No cutting through finished tiles
    No coring through asphalt/concrete
    Faster overall installation
    Best long-term appearance

Installation Notes: Sleeves are set in concrete before tile installation. Tile surface is cut neatly around cured sleeves. Sleeve caps sit flush with finished tile surface.

    B

    After Tile Installation

    Alternate Method

May be preferable when there is concern about layout measurements, the base surface already exists, or visual symmetry must be confirmed on the finished surface.

    Verify locations on finished tiles
    Reduces risk of symmetry errors
    Precise centerline confirmation
    Requires cutting through tiles
    More labor-intensive

Installation Notes: Tiles are temporarily removed in post areas. Asphalt or concrete is cored at confirmed locations. Sleeves are set flush with finished tile height.

    Symmetry & Tolerance Warning

A net post offset as small as 1 inch can result in visibly uneven net alignment, misaligned court markings, and poor visual balance. This is especially noticeable on pickleball courts, multi-sport courts, and family-sized courts.

    CAD / Submittal Package

Every pre-made kit includes a downloadable CAD/Submittal package for architect and contractor approval, plus step-by-step Tile Installation Instructions tailored to your actual court design.

    Locked court dimensions
    Editable color configuration
    Hoop placement & overhang
    Optional landmarks/logos
    Perimeter transition specs
    Minimum base requirements
    Signature & approval block
    Revision tracking

    Installation Method Recommendations

The correct approach depends on layout confidence, base material, and tolerance for symmetry.

    Scenario
    Recommended Method
    Status
    Layout confirmed, new base
    Install posts before tiles
    Preferred
    Tight tolerances, symmetry critical
    Install posts after tiles
    Alternate
    Multi-sport overlap
    Install posts after tiles
    Alternate
    Existing asphalt or concrete
    Case-by-case evaluation
    Evaluate

    Final Guidance

Both installation methods are acceptable when executed properly. The installer should:

    • Review the approved CAD / Submittal
    • Evaluate base surface conditions
    • Confirm symmetry requirements
    • Select the method that minimizes risk for the specific site
